Başak Tuna

Başak Tuna (Istanbul) is a critical spatial practitioner currently based in Rome, graduated in 2021 from the Design Academy Eindhoven with an MA in Contextual Design.

Her work investigates the infrastructures between power relations, technology, bureaucracy, and human beings within multiple spectrums. Her artistic research feeds itself from the products’ agency; she dissects, documents, and uses reverse engineering to rewind production processes.

Başak took part in numerous shows and exhibitions: 15. Istanbul Biennial, 2-4 Design Biennial Istanbul, and Dutch Design Week among them.
