Johannes Wahlström

Johannes Wahlström (born 1981) is an award-winning journalist, film director and author with a degree in Media and Communication Science, Social Anthropology and Political Science from Stockholm University.

Johannes Wahlström was the editor of the magazine Tromb (magazine of the year 2006) when it was Sweden's largest community magazine. He has made a number of films for Swedish Television (for which he has been awarded Kristallen, Guldspaden and Stora Journalistpriset) and has worked with Wikileaks - the latter he documented in the film Mediastan which was produced by Ken Loach's Sixteen Films. Together with photographers Klara Källström and Thobias Fäldt, he has published a number of books via the publisher B-B-B-Books. His artistic works have been exhibited at Hasselblad Center, Rencontres d’Arles and FG2 in Gothenburg, among others.
