Olga Pylnik

Olga Pylnyk (UA) was born in 1980, in Uzhhorod, Ukraine. As a child, she sewed, embroidered, and knitted with her mother and dreamed of becoming a fashion designer.

In 1995 Olga entered the Uzhhorod College of Applied Arts, Department of Ceramics. In 1999 – the Lviv National Academy of Arts, and again to the Department of Ceramics. After graduation, she continued to work in this field and launched her own ceramics workshop. Since 2007 he has been actively participating in exhibitions in Ukraine and abroad. The latest projects of 2018-2020 were devoted to environmental issues. In her latest projects, Olga transferres knitting techniques to clay; this method became her speciality.
